Wai Kru Ceremony
The Wai Kru Ceremony is a Thai ritual in which students pay homage to their teachers in order to express their gratitude and formalize the student-teacher relationship. Wai means to bow in Thai and it also include hands together like saying prayer. It is held in June or July every year in which Thai Students bring flowers to their teachers as a symbo of their respect and readiness for the new year academic. The ceremony is very formal and decorative, and it is also vital part of the traditional Thai education system.
