Trung Sisters
Trung Sisters were Vietnamese Military Leader and also heroines of the first Vietnamese independence movement, who lead a rebellion against the rulling Chinese Han dynasty in 40 AD and for the brief of moment, they established an autonomous state. They were Trung Trac and Trung Nhic and their head was cut off by Chinese Military Leader during another rebellion.Their determination and strong leadership has been seen as a symbol for women position and freedom of women in Vietnamese society, in wich at that time,Vietnam was ruled by Chinese with its male-dominated culture.
