Sumatra

Sumatra is situated in western Indonesia, and is the largest island in Indonesia. The people of Sumatra come from diverse cultural backgrounds. Whilst lush tropical rainforest once dominated the landscape, a high percentage of this rainforest has been destroyed in recent years due to deforestation.
