Songkran Festival

Thailand’s Songkran Festival is similar with Lao’s Pii Mai. The festival is a public holiday celebrated every 13-15 April each year all across Thailand as Thai New Year. During the festival people give offerings to the monks and sprinkling water on Buddha images/statues to get blessings. The festive of the festival happen during the water fights when people go out and spray water to each other.
