Saymoukda Duangphouxay Vongsay

Saymoukda was born in Thailand but she is Lao American writer who immigrated to Minnesota in 1984. L’Etoile Magazine named her play, Kung Fu Zombie vs. Cannibals as “Best Production of 2013”. She also the recipient of other awards like Aspen Ideas Bush Foundation Scholar (2017); Convergence Fan Favorite Guest of Honor (2017); Coffee Sleeve Conversations, Coffee House Press (2016); IMPRESSIONS, Saint Paul Almanac (2016); and many more.
