Santa Cruz Cemetery
The cemetery is where the Santa Cruz massacred took place. It was in November 12th, 1991 when more then 270 East Timorese were shot by Indonesian military troops when they were in the funeral procession of Sebastio Gomez. Gomez was dead during his hideout (sought sanctuary) in the church by Indonesian military.
