Lao Independence Day
For some, Lao Independence Day is quite confusing. Lao got its independence from French Union on July 19th, 1949 which makes July 19th became their independence day. However, during Lao’s civil war December 2nd, 1975 also marked as their independence day. December 2nd is to celebrate the independence day of the People’s Democratic Republic of Laos.
