Philippines’s country conventional long form name is Republic of the Philippines. Locally, it is called Republika ng Pilipinas or Pilipinas for short.

Philippines’s national symbol is three stars and sun, Philippine eagle, while its national colors are red, white, blue, and yellow. Its national anthem is “Lupang Hinirang” or Chosen Land in English. Its capital is Manila, with geographic coordinates of 14 36 N, 120 58 E.
