Cambodia’s country conventional long form name is Kingdom of Cambodia. Locally, it is called Preahreacheanachakr Kampuchea or Kampuchea for short. Formerly, its name was Khmer Republic, Democratic Kampuchea, People’s Republic of Kampuchea, State of Cambodia.

Cambodia’s national symbol is Angkor Wat temple, kouprey (wild ox), while its national colors are red and blue. Its national anthem is “Nokoreach” or Royal Kingdom in English. Its capital is Phnom Penh, with geographic coordinates of 11 33 N, 104 55 E.
