Ong Teng Cheong
Ong was the fifth President of Singapore serving the country from September 1st, 1993 to August 31st, 1999. Before serving as a president, Ong was an active politician and an architect. He was involved in Singapore’s major construction such as the establishment of Singapore’s Changi Airport and its mass transportation, MRT (Mass Rapid Transit).
